This update changed EVERYTHING you knew about A2. (Assuming you knew anything – it was 100x shittier than this version)

Disclaimer:
The speed of shutter doors might not be optimal, still trying to get the hang of this.
Some geometry might be a bit wierd, point it out to me if you find anything extreme.
I appreciate any constructive criticism. I will consider most (sane) suggestions.

unfortunately for me it looks like yet another logjam, you just get some clutch ideas from different maps and mix them up together: the mid is purely koth_arctic+snakewater + a bunch of parts from other maps
the second is really tight near the point making it pretty hard to push to, considering how many useless open space there is and how small the entrance to the point itself
I love the idea of last point being in the centre but again, it looks like a ripoff of logjam at least from the screenshot perspective
the most famous maps are all unique in their ways and you (almost) always got different approach for every section of every map, you gotta think of this “uniqueness” for your map too if you want it to be enjoyable and playable
and imo there’s A HUGE CRAPLOAD of unused 5cp maps that need to be modified not entirely even, just some of their areas (freight’s last, metalworks’s second+lighting, yukon’s whatever I don’t even remember), I’d rather see people working on this than creating these most likely (no offence, just from my pov) unsuccessful projects

I don’t want to take over an abandoned project, sorry. The _pro versions almost never get played either way.

You know, this is still an early alpha and I could technically change everything
And yeah, I already got feedback that lots of areas were too large, I’m gonna work on that. Also, I didn’t rip anything of. Logjam has a patent of circular last points? Gullywash? Badlands? There are several areas not visible on these screenshots. (So people won’t just look at the pics and judge it, but actually walk around on it.

well the pro version of viaduct has become a separate map, the pro version of granary is in map rotation for various seasons in both EU and NA leagues (people don’t want to play it because the map itself is not lovely, not the pro version which is actually pretty good), there was a pro version of badlands but I’ve only seen it once and after that one game people came to consensus that the changes are absolutely not needed
so if you get a freight and make a pro version, people might dig it and give it a go, and for a proper metalworks update you might get instantly praised by a lot of people (myself included)

Disclaimer:
I am a new mapper and I have not yet learned how to optimise. Since this is my first project I will work on optimization in the future. FPS levels should be fine though.
