Hey everyone,
I made a koth map designed for highlander (with the help of Mighty Burger for the layout), with a new type of gameplay, because both spawns are next to each other and the point is at the opposite of the map. The second special thing on this map is that you can cap the point from two position, from above and bottom.
Well, after that you might think this map is fucked up. In fact, it’s really viable in highlander and a mix already happened on it, and the results was a really close and cool game.

Don’t judge too much the look of the map, it’s a beta version, I have a clear idea of what will look the map at the end, but I can’t begin to work on it if I have to change the layout after.
I will keep this post updated with the new versions that I’ll release.

Changelog B4:
-Made the crane not solid (sad story)
-Removed the windows between the lobbies (very sad story)
-Removed the windows above the lobbies
-Added some func_details
-Enlarged connectors between top and bottom
-Added a 2nd way of exit to the spawn
-Changed the concrete pipes of the top mid to another props
-Upgraded small ammo packs near the connectors to medium
-Removed the big roof that confused Atzebumm
-Fixed a texture glitch
-Enlarge brushes to improve performances
-Moved a bit the fences near the crane to stop confusing Atzebumm
-Made the map less brightning
-Added areaportals! It will increase your FPS
Changelog B5:
-Made the capture trigger less high
-Decoration stuff, now the lobby in front of the spawn isn’t empty anymore. Gonna work on more decoration later.
-Added a 3rd way of exit for the spawn, a balcony useful for a sniper to clean the lobby from a safe position.
-Changed the corner in the lobby to get under to a ramp with pipes.
-The decoration can be used for some soldiers trap

Map is incredibly fun for some reason.
Despite this map seeming pretty sniper friendly it isn’t at all which is a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE plus

it was a pretty fun map to play, except that it might become a routine to hold top, rotate bottom, hold top rotate bottom…
I think it is possible to hold differents positions and have differents playstyles. Future game on it will tell it :3

A very simple yet fun map. Minis are evil on it.
