Well the problem that we found at the moment is that there is a lack of options on mid, once everyone gets there.
On Badlands, you can go choke/valley/house and on gran you can go left/right/top. People don’t appear to have many options expect to push round onto point as the mid section is too easily spammed.
Could easily be different if the two sides were further apart and u’d get to mid facing the point and not water ( would open it up for some extra terrain/high ground to the right of the point – BLU perspective)
This would probably remove the charm the point currently has and make it another generic mid though. Could be interesting to make a quick version like this and possibly get some ideas out of it, after playtests.

The more i play this map the more i like mid. Yeah it’s a bit slower and not as explosive as badlands or gullywash but i think that’s the charm of this map.

I have actually agree with you, but people tend not to give it a chance after the first time. Which would be a bad reason for this map to be not played next season.
there’ll be a croissant cup SOON!

not liking map after they first try and then abandoning it because you maybe lost because you didnt really know how to play it yet is a bad reason in general (or in that case: not liking something new, i. e. a middle point). every map should be tried at least several times before anyone can have to have a reasoned opinion about it, and this map is no exception.
more important is that maps are played with real teams with game face on. Hopefully a cup can fix that :)

Nope :(
But there is a displacement gap under the mid. Have to noclip to see it though. And lol at the trigger_hurt under the whole(?) map.

The surprise isn’t the yeti, is it? :o

The improvements sound good. As scout I always felt kind of blind at mid.
