i like the map. It has loads of potential. People just need to adjust to it since it’s something different from the typical granlands.

Well the spots can be pretty gay that’s true but it’s a risk you take you can’t really help your team and you’re only any good if the enemy takes that route, although i might clip some more.

That was the best part of the map. Doing a push from the drop down and all 6 going into the hole, whilst shouting “DOWN THE HOLE”, and then pulling it off and capping last was amazing. Infact it was one of the more effective ways to push last! :(

Good map, I really urge people who’ve disliked it after 1 play to try again: once you get over the counter-intuitive bits (like the 3rd spawn being different to Badlands, or the top of the 2nd point roof being unreachable) it’s actually pretty good.

Thanks Vero & Antyy I will look into those spots,

Daleth & Erazed, like i explained to Erazed on irc the reason for the dropdown and the pipes being there was basically what you described. But not enough people used it effectively and i felt it obstructed the main route to point a little too much so i decided to cut it in the end. I kept it for as long as i could but I feel it might play better without.

Changes in RC3 seems good.
That map is definetly interesting in 6v6, however i still think some things need to be updated.

-Middle is the worst part of the map imo, in one hand it’s prolly one of the most audacious middle you can find in a comp map but on the other hand you don’t have enough space to maneuver, especially as a scout.
Possibilities : enlarge the space between the tower and the walls because it’s too tight to fight there, enlarge the crates or made something to create a real second option where you can fight, unseal one of the paths wich were in beta versions (sniper deck before the middle on the right or the path behind the cp). You remove the sniper deck because it was too sniper friendly in bazillion so now sniper is not used at all :(.

-2nd CP choke it too far from the place defenders are (terrace ? dunno how it is called in english), which lead to a cp2/cp3 phase way too slow, few possibilites to get a pick. Dunno how resolve that big problem tough.
Little fix you can do :
Maybe move forward 2nd resupply so wa can see “pick classe” more often to unblock the situation.
Enlarge the door in the house who lead to CP so you can rj more effectively, annoying to jump on a 3 cm wall ;)

Good luck, hope the map will evolve in the good way ;)

Looks like overall gameplay improvements, albeit at a visual expense. I understand the need to do something on middle, as it’s currently quite claustrophobic. Visually, The new middle house looks crap, and I miss the pipes on last. Shame to lose some of the map’s selling points, I think there are ways around it.

The new drop down looks better, I’d probs prefer making it a tad more narrow.

i’m not sure about any changes to mid, i’m confident about the changes to last. Midhouse looks like crap indeed.
