That thing across the fence keeps appearing and dissapearing, I can tell every time I’m entering that sector with the healthpack and ammo (compare both images):

Same as before, tree apears and dissapears:

Texture on the wall appears and dissapears:

As you might have noticed on the last screenshots, and now more clear in this one, there is a weird line at the border of the “earthy” wall:

You can stand over this one light post and watch through the cealing:

Move this to touch the wall (used noclip to you it more clearly):

Also, this still isn’t fixed:

Which allows to use some tricky sticky traps that go through the borders and deal damage (something that shouldn’t be possible). Here you have 2 examples(demos):

Voted for grass btw :P
Thanks compleat, I managed to miss some of these but I’ll be sure to fix them for the next version.
Anyways, released b8: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2447457/cp_snakewater_b8.bsp.bz2
Updated changelog b8:
Added missing announcer sounds
Rebuilt some messed up details
Made some optimization which should have quite an impact in some areas
KLAN KURT PUNKT SLUT REPORTING FOR MONDAY NIGHT MADNESS, SIR
Also, having followed Snakewaters development since pre-alpha:
GOOD FUCKING WORK, CHOJJE

To anyone one who gets an error or differing map files – make sure you’ve downloaded the map from the link I’ve provided to be sure you’ve got the correct version. I might be able to get a new one out soon.
Was gonna say this is a good map till I played the new version. drops mah fps more than obscure and thats just baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.

b8snow, just renamed to b8 (my bad ;P).
The real b8 might be better optimized than b8snow. Just can’t be arsed to upload new until b9

The tree at the back appearing and dissapearing, although subtle, is still noticeable:

Kinda hard to see from this picture but the blue cealing from where the lights hang isn’t well aligned:

You need to make this wall a little bit taller, you can see through it (only on the red side):

You can stand over any of the 3 respawn windows:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/11430411/Imagenes/cp_snakewater_b80002.jpg
You can also stand here, which can give a tricky height advantage:

Wow. What was supposed to be a 20 minute session to fix a few small bugs became 8 hours straight of optimization work. It’s nowhere near complete yet, but I’ve managed to increase the fps in critical areas (on my rig) by about 25-30%. There are a few areas (the choke area in particular) which are worse than others, but I feel I’ve reached an acceptable fps in nearly the entire map.
Having said that, here’s the link to the last version, b9: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2447457/cp_snakewater_b9.bsp.bz2
Changelog b9:
LOTS of optimization
A few bugfixes
Reworked mid a bit, mostly for optimization reasons
This will be the version played in MNM, so I hope you enjoy it :)
