The new changes are really good, the only issue I have is middle which is very hard for a soldier to spam, which means that the first demoman to get some direct pipes pretty much wins, a soldier can just get knocked off the top and would have to get very close to even do any damage.

But I can’t complain, it was fun for me :D

Also, can you remove all the bucket sticky traps? And there’s a trap on the right door on last (looking out) which can get people on the inside of lobby, which is kinda stupid, kind of makes pushing from there less viable.

Not really so big deal, but when pushing last and someone respawns the sniper can get him instantly.

Got some great news, got my new graphics card today so I’m gonna start working with the next version right away! Comments on rc4 have been positive this far, but please do keep me updated if you still notice imbalances, especially whether the changes to last are enough to make it easier to push.

The main problem I’m working with right now is the fact that it’s way oto hard pushing from last to 2, which leads to people camping last rather than play aggressively. Hopefully I can come up with a solution for that for the next version.

I’m going to create a few test version with various changes to 2nd for private testing, if you’re interested in helping me out please do contact me. Until then, hope you enjoy rc4!

Allright, I have a new test version out for you to try, the reason why this is only pre-rc5 and not the official one is explained in the video I’ve attached. This is probably close to what i’m gonna do, so please do try it out and submit your feedback.

Note: this is not the official optimized version, it’s only for balance testing purposes.

My first thought is that thats too many routes. Think of everything you would have to cover when pushing out from last.

Last being too easy to attack should not be an issue though.

I must agree that there are many ways to cover if you’re pushing out from last.
But when it comes to attacking, the update is awesome! :D

I agree that there might be one or two too many routes to between 1 and 2 atm, one thing I’m probably going to do is removing the dropdown route (however not the balcony inside lobby!!) and also making the lobby a bit more compact. But I will need a bit more actual gameplay feedback before I go on with rc5.
