Looks like it’s snakewater week in ESL! If anybody plays it, I’d be really happy to either spectate or watch your demos in order to work on the next version! Hope you all enjoy the map!

We were about to play it, but then ESL WIRE decided to troll the fuck out of our enemy on the first map, so they were like, cba to play snake anymore, we fucking FOLD.

ESL is still using rc2, iirc.
rc3 is only used for the Country Championschip

Yeah I know, gameplaywise they’re very similar however, just featuring optimization and visual changes.

Really good map imo, the only thing I think could be improved is the balance between pushing last and pushing out from last.

Pushing in to last should perhaps be a tiny bit easier, it’s close to good balance though.
Pushing out from last needs to be a bit more easy.

That’s all I can think of really.

This map reminds me a lot of Granary, specially on the last point. I like it a lot and would love to see it played on ETF2L

I agree that last is the main problem of the map – especially being hard to push. To change this I’ve moved back the spawn entrance to both make it harder for defenders to resupply, and for reinforcements to reach the point and block it too quickly. This will hopefully force defenders to be a bit more aggressive and not simply hide out in resupply once pushes come in.

RC4 is in the works, I’ll throw up a few pics of the changes this far.

I have some sad news; my graphics card broke a few days ago on my way to a LAN, which means I have no way of reaching the files required´to get the finished rc4 version out. I’m returning the gfx card after the weekend and hopefully it will be fixed so you can play the new version at the end of next week. Either way; if there’s any changes or suggestions on things you want in rc4, keep me updated and I’ll get to work as soon as I get my computer to work again.
