Is okay if the ladder match isn’t on etf2l league server?
yes
Yes almost all games are played on one of the participating clan’s servers. If you find that you do not ping well to their server and they do not ping well to yours, then you can request an ETF2L server to play on which should be more neutral for both teams. Other than that, you are welcome to play on whatever server you choose.
A longer answer:
League servers are only used if 2 teams cannot agree on a server between themselves, or if they cannot find a neutral one.
If that happens, you can ask to borrow a league server, but in general teams will play on their own server. Just make sure you have the ETF2L config loaded and you’re fine.
EDIT: i shouldn’t type an answer and then go do other things for half an hour before i press submit…
