I like how after all these months of fighting against the Sandman, the FaN and general unlock dumbfuckery, and all the undoubtedly hundreds of posts which explain the real reasons behind our distaste for these broken weapons, retards are still unable to move past the idiotic “LOL D1 AFRAID OF CAHNGE” argument and are using it as a banner under which to rally around. Please try to retain some semblance of coherency and move past your retardation, and if you must then argue against real points being made.

But I guess distorting the debate to a mockery makes it easier for you to seem like you know what you’re talking about.

Bash you’re a demo man. Demo men are limited to 1 because of their ability to deal large amounts of damage and restrict movement considerably (slowing down gameplay) with stickies. Do you think it would be fair for me to compare the abilities of the demo man to the abilities of a soldier using the direct hit? If so, is it the combination of demo man and direct hit that slows down gameplay and restricts movement too much?

You nailed it exactly, the demoman slows the game down to a pace that is acceptable (I’d be the first to admit that I indeed do have vested interest in propogating this argument, but I also believe you’d be hard to find naysayers to it’s validity), but adding the TDH (and the old FaN but this is a nonpoint at the moment obviously as we actually got our way on this) slows it over the limit that the current metagame which revolves around the medic requires, and makes the uber the only way to get anything done. There must be a middle ground between “chaotic scoutfest” and a “snails-pace ubergrindfest”.

I want to play a game with a balance between individual and team effort, where you have the option between being offensive and defensive at almost any given time. I don’t want to play public TF2. This is where me and many people in this thread seem to disagree. Give me unlockables that do not change this balance for the worse and I will accept them with open arms. Like the medic unlockables.
