So since it has been announced Gorge will be in Season 7, I noticed clans practising it. We played it once and we had no idea what we were doing.
I don’t know whether it is better to run with an engi, use a pyro or not, sniper/spy…etc
Well, I was wondering what ideas people have for tactics. Personally I think it is a map when attacking you can use a sniper and when defending you need an engi, otherwise I am not sure.

Engi and sniper both work very well on defense.
The engineer has enough time to set up his sentry and dispenser and upgrade them.
I think after the first point, things will change from sniper on defense, to engineer (though saying that, there is one sightline above the final point), and possibly, an engineer on attack in place of a scout (pros: teleporter, cons: slower than a scout).

Best gorge tactic is deleting it from map pool, based on my experiences so far at least.

Anyway, it’s great for sniper, I don’t really know how engy will work on the defence of the first point.

Actually looking forward to playing it but I just can’t imagine it being very enjoyable.

Played the map 3 times now in a war. Really enjoyed it, requires lots of teamwork to push out of the spawn. Gives critubers also a possibility.
