I find fighting against scouts much more bearable with this on. (As a soldier) I also enjoy knowing how much damage I am going to do if I shoot a well aimed shot. Even playing as a scout, duels against other scouts are much more bearable and feel more fair.
I reckon that if they gave the scout 1 more hp, there would be someone who complains. Common sense please people.
Personally I think this is a good move, it now means scout combat is based around aim more and not luck. At least now you know that have to aim well to kill things and not rely on the spread of the shot anymore.
I’m all for scout shots doing the damage they should when their aim is perfect, and hopefully this stops those shots that do 13 one time then 70 damage the next at mid range.
As much as I FUCKING HATE Scouts and think they’re powerful enough already, I agree with this.
glorious 1 shots
I vote 1, and I’m a soldier, WHAT’S YOUR GAME?!
0 ^^)
shouldn’t even be debated in my eyes.

It barely makes any difference either way, damage is more consistent. Hitting a meatshot from afar with random spread on was stupid, this fixes things like that.
Some people are whining about mid-range meatshots, this is probably impossible to do with the spread and happens with fixed spread turned off.
Not having this set to “1” is like forcing crits enabled. Has that ever been considered a good idea?
No.
Less randomness = good for people who has over 10 hours game time, more randomness = awesome for a newcomer without a clue.
Hooray.
