although im no steam forum user, i wouldn’t mind putting my name forward for a “pub” based scout.
(used to be a backup scout in snuke, way back when, only played a small handful of matches, really wouldn’t mind trying to get back into it )
Hey, umm im trying to get onto the comp scene and missed out on one of these in the past, so i would be quite interested to play scout, the only problem is i am quite a busy person and have a pretty busy real life… but if you will still have me then that would be fab!
Sorry ElektrikzZ, didn’t see your post until after I updated the topic on the steam forums. We have the lineup sorted and have had our first map walkthrough today. They seem like a calm and patient bunch, they sat through well over an hour of speccing and listening to me and Wildcard going through the map and general tactics on it.
This idea is nothing really new. It’s basically making farm teams in which you train and in the process of, hopefully sway some nibz over to the dark side. There were a few of these teams in NS when people were trying to revive it’s dwindling numbers. They do work if you find the right pubbers, but you can’t just take anyone…
ok… if anyone drops out or if there is ever a team 2…

p.s. Some epic lolz were had when reading that Steam Forums thread.
If they’re going to practice 5 days/week, they might roll div6 in s7, especially with all the pro help. Would be cool. You’re going to need a 256 slot stv for their first official:D

When they eventually get into the league make sure to let people know ahead of time the stv etc when matches are scheduled, this should be really interesting to watch as they grow as a team :D
im free usualy now so quite willing to “help” would be interesting to see the results.
