Sorry but having a ban in another game and carrying it onto here, is pathetic, most people who played 1.6 ended up hacking for the lolz or whatever. Its in the past get over it. Also ive noticed that alot of the new admins are being pricks about this and doing all the talking on forums, surely some admins feel different?
Not to be pedantic, but a 1.6 ban on the HL1 engine, would not incur any sort of ban in ETF2L which has only banned accounts with HL2 engine bans.
Nice dig at the Admin team though. Thanks for that one :)
1. My bad but still don’t agree with it ;]
2. Your welcome, just a select few that i don’t like and they probably know who they are ;]
I would ban them all. Even those with a 15 years old ban in tetrinet. If you can not play fair, get out … and stay out. And those who can’t behave, maybe they will learn their lesson in those few years they are baned.
But keep the cry-topics alive. Amusing stuff.
Btw … besides all the flaming, ETF2L did and does a good job. Keep it up.

What the hell kind of reply is that rge.
Who gives a shit if you’ve used some aimbot in css to piss off some people when you’re drunk or whatever. Bans from this league should be meant to keep the league cheat-free.
VAC-detectable hacks aren’t a threat, even if used in tf2. Need an explanation?
VAC-detectable cheats are incredibly obvious to spot, since they’re made by some uneducated kids who think it’s funny to make an aimbot. Keep tabs on the “known cheaters” sure, but banning them cause they got VAC banned makes no sense, keeping the actual goal of these bans in mind.
But by all means, ignore this and every other post in the forums, keep making retarded rules the majority of players disagrees with. Like extremer said, you’re fucking up the entire competitive tf2 community.
Not an attack on the admins, but certainly an attack on the system and decision-making lately.

By the same notion, we would let out child-molesters on the streets after a certain amount of time instead of bludgeoning them to death.
Oh, wait.
You DO know he made over 1000 posts called “GRYZOR SUCKS COCK!” in the forum, which deneusbeer and Netsky was deleting by hand (until I saved the day with this awesome sql-query)? Those kind of things kind of adds up, even if it was during his “banned” period.
… Not to mention all the other crap he has pulled over the past 18 months, I’d be very surprised if Day decided to lift that ban. Day might be crazy and slow, but not THAT crazy and slow.

Child molesters shouldn’t be released from prison as they’re likely to do it again.
Again points at a repetition, which therefore can’t be linked to cheating since the VAC-banned people have never cheated in a competitive enviroment.
Good attempt, though.
I still fail to see the difference between having hacked and gotten VAC’d in VAC1 and VAC’d in VAC2. If you ban people for having a VAC2 ban you should ban them for having a VAC1 ban as well.
Cheaters will always be cheaters, right?

No we’re not going anywhere with it, it’s just ironic.

Cheaters will always be cheaters, right?
But if someone has a source engine ban is it possible to find out which game the ban came from? Or is it based on their word alone?

The policy of banning someone across all games with the source engine makes sense, because the hacks work across all the source based games, because it’s hacked the source engine.
So someone that has hacked on source, could not be trusted in theory because they have hacks on their PC that works with all the games that is ran on source, but someone that hacks in 1.6 or another game could potentially be trusted but closely watched.

Come again NVC? I’ve been banned? I left ETF2L after a number of disagreements.
Well, ok. I deleted a bunch of admins I thought was lazy fucks without any fruitful input, Day saw this as “out of order” and I left before it went any further than that. Ask him yourself.
I’ve never been banned from here.
