Oi, stop photoshopping my posts!
:D
The 2 year ETF2L bans for accounts that were banned before the rules were changed are pretty hotly debated. I think it’s good that people talk about it and a fair decision should be reached through discussion.
I already made my own personal opinion clear in that I don’t think people should get a 2 year punishment instead of the 1 year ban that was the rule at the time of their account receiving a VAC ban.
Talking about Joske though, he doesn’t ever help his own personal case by doing idiotic things such as spamming the forums. If he wants people to see him as a grown-up and respect him, ideally he should treat others as a grown-up too. I think it would be good for him to have the chance to play tf2 again one day and prove that he can play fairly and have fun whilst doing so in a league setting.
Since it is never clear to people, the above comments are my opinion, not necessarily the viewpoint of ETF2L.
What about people who get their accounts stolen and get it back only to find it’s VAC banned? Because I see at least one player who had that happen in the ban list.

It’s my personal oppinion that for a few months now (since the last flame ban extension) that he’s been pretty well behaved and deserved that chance to prove himself again

Do Valve send emails back to you confirming they have given back your account?

I’d assume so when your support ticket or w/e is resolved.
But they never tell when the cheats were used, they just ban in waves every fortnight or so :/

Yeah they update the support ticket so the user would get an email with these details in.

I was about to say this. I’ve been here a few months and haven’t seen Joske stirring shit up anywhere.

To be honest this is goin on waaaaaaaaaay to long now. Even if its your own opinion (im sorry) you dare talk about respect, while you, etf2l, are loosing the respect of your players.
Im not just talkin about this incident with joske, which doesn´t only do him unjustice its immoral compared to the REAL tf2 cheaters.
Its goin on for weeks now, where there´s a series of highly doubtfull decisions made, while its absolutely clear that the majority of your players are against it.
Seriously etf2l, open your eyes, listen to your community, grow up and put your personal vendetta´s aside, save the respect you got from the community instead of loosing it slowly……..

+1 to this man.
imo, etf2l is giving its self a bad name by all this bull shit. Sorry but having a ban in another game and carrying it onto here, is pathetic, most people who played 1.6 ended up hacking for the lolz or whatever. Its in the past get over it. Also ive noticed that alot of the new admins are being pricks about this and doing all the talking on forums, surely some admins feel different?
Meh what i guess im trying to say is, if this league dies, comp tf2 dies and we all have to move to modern warfare 2 or serious sam HD. Lets face it, no one wants that.
