Is this a new feature or have i been blind for the past few weeks, now on the match pages it says who played in a match in green writing underneath so you dont have to click on the screen shots to see whos played!

Yeah its new but i dont know why anyone have said nothing about. Anyway, is this done by the admins or by the leaders ?
My guess is that it is automatically generated from the status screenshot.
It’s a very nice feature!
I think F2’s right as any games without the status don’t have the list of names. One thing which I think would be nice if the unregistered mercs were able to be put under the team they played for or at least in the middle of the 2. Don’t know how viable the first option is though.
I think it would be a good addition if you were able to enter the steamid or link to the etf2l profil of the mercs together with the team which they played for in the “submit results” part. Then they could be attributed to the correct team and the other team would be able to confirm them.
Also currently players are listed multiple times if more than one status screenshot is submitted.
yes, its new

Yes, it parses the participating players from the status screenshot, credit for that goes to Mihalch, it’s a crossover between voodoo magic and chinese for the rest of us silly coders. (just when you think you know a bit of PHP) It doesn’t have 100% success rate ( because of missing screens, ones in vague resolutions, etc.) but it comes pretty close. The css needs some work aswell =)
It’s primary meant to make the admins work easier (fully-automatic steamID checking / ), but it can be displayed on the match page aswell (as you can see)
