Level Up TV & The NationCup Final

Hi there,

Before i get started, you can find the VOD of the England -vs- Sweden Semi-Final (with a few issues such as sound that is now fixed) on our site: http://nvcgamer.eu/lvlup.html – just click “on-demand” on the stream, we had around 300 guys watching it so well done! :D

Anyway, let us know if you’d like us to make ourselves available to cover the final, date/time.. etc.

Pure would be making another appearance along with myself and hopefully Oggy! (Failing that we have wooot and wicked on reserve!)

By then we’ll have our video intro complete and we plan on being able to finally offer our VOD’s for download, or at the very least, as a download through our youtube page using a firefox plug in! ^^ (everything will be available through links on our v2 of the temp site released soon)

As always, you can contact us to request a game on #lvl^ @ quakenet… and it would be great if a member of either of the 2 finalists, or ETF2L, could contact me and confirm.

You should do some IRC message readouts and maybe even get some pre match interview you can just play whilst the teams warm up :D. That would be epic, like watching a proper sport on TV.

Also, knowing why evil isn’t moving is lolz in the case of the 2nd map :D. Good VOD, quality could be better but it was alright.

2nd map quality was due to me renaming the file when i re-uploaded

Develop a system to avoid speaking on top of each other. You did that a lot in the semi final.

hud_reloadscheme would help, fixes any missing or wrong coloured players on the overlay. It might not be scheme but it’ll auto prompt you to the right one by the time you have hud_re put in.

stop shoutcasting matches from first person view the entire time, i don’t care about their aim i want to keep track of the entire teams position.
Even 3rd person will give you a better view of what’s going on.

that aside, i like the initiative and you’re doing a good job but try to keep better track of what’s going on.

I can do that, it’s how i do it in quake live, i just had other people to do it for me last cast (i’ll change it next time)
