Ahh this problem!
Basically windows thinks of Mumble as a “voice call”, to fix it, you right click the sound icon in the system tray, go to playback devices, then go to the “communications” tab, and then set the option to do nothing!
thought this only applies for windows 7, does winxp have the same “feature” ?
Ditto for Vista :3
I think it -might- do, I’m not sure, have a check in the control panel, if not, it’s something mumble related
I know vista does anyway, lol

I cba making another topic so..
How can i remove noise reduction on mumble? Everytime i turn on mumble it turns the volume of every program down a bit. So if i don’t open the sound panel everytime and set it back eventually i have no sound on any of my progs.
I have vista btw

Yep, that’s really really annoying.Does anyone know how to turn it off?
Configure – settings – audio output – other applications slider, set it to 100%
you’ll need expert config on, which is in user interface
edit: on reading the thread a bit.. fuck knows
