From the news:
“And, last but not least, we decided all team rosters will be locked from the start of Week 9 till the end of the Season. This is the conclusion of some ungentle people who joined a team for one match and left it right after in previous Seasons.”
I dont quite understand that. Isnt week 9 pretty much the end of the season? Why would you lock the roster for 1 match?
I’m pretty confused and may misunderstand that. Can someone pls clear this up? Thanks :)
Last season, players that for example played all their games in their clan in div1, quit their div1 team, joined a team in another div and played their last games or playoff-matches. Later they rejoined their div1-team.
There was no rule against this last season, now there is.
Say you and another team is fighting for the 1st place in your div.
The winner of the match will win the division.
Then the other team adds the best player in the world to their roster and steamrolls you and thus takes the victory.
Then they remove him from the roster after the game.
Same works for play-off games.
You can choose to not allow them using a ringer, but you can’t deny them using a player in their roster.
