As a lot of people might have refrained from voting until they were sure which decision to make? It’s pretty standard play to give such information.

Also it’d be pretty sick to know when we’ll find out the final infos on shit. Like I personally have no idea what constitutes winning the vote. For instance it’s not irregular to say that a vote needs 66% (ie. two thirds) of the total votes for a change to occur (eg. a map would need 66%, not 51% to get int he map pool).

Should give a days notice or something, otherwise there’ll be all sorts of accusations such as “omg admins closed poll when it was the result they wanted!!11” kind of shit.

having a set date/time at which the polls close is a pretty common thing to put in-place when dealing with an open and public poll, as without a hard deadline, it is very easy for the people in charge to close the poll whenever they wish so as to achieve their desired results

setting a time would be an anti-corruption method that would help get rid of retarded posts like what koeitje just said, so it seems like a good thing to do!
