This isn’t good for the new ETF2L config, delay needs to be 90, autorecord on..
Imo, 90 delay is pointless, I don’t think someone in STV calling something that happened 45 seconds ago is anymore useful than something that happened 90 seconds ago. It also makes it more likely the spectators won’t see the match end due to map change.
Also, Autorecord is MASSIVE no no. You end up with massive demos that are like 700MB and 3 days long. :P

This plugin stops recording if there are 0 people on the server for more than 30 seconds.

I’ve noticed that STV demos are generally much smaller than POV demos (~20MB vs ~60MB for a 30 minute match.) How is this possible if the POV follows one player, while STV follows 12?

Our tech wiz has fixed stv to record when the etf2l config is loaded and stops at the end. Dunno how he did it but it comes in very handy if you had an awesome killing spree but didn’t record a pov demo ;)

Yes I know about that plugin. :P
What im saying is that the built-in STV autorecord utility (tv_autorecord 1) will record 24/7 from when a map is loaded until somebody does rcon tv_stoprecord.

STV demos have a lower tickrate than normal POV demos. As you know, a normal TF2 server has a tickrate of 66, this means positions of every object (rocket, sticky, etc,,,) and person is updated, calculated by the server and transmitted to the clients (i.e. sent to your PC) 66 times per second. However SourceTV only has a tickrate of 16 by default, hence your smaller demos.
OMG
