Why is this disabled via ETF2L config?
The game looks so much better with color correction enabled.
I see no point in disabling it.

The only two official maps which supports it are 2fort and Well.
No other map has any color correction file for it.
The point of disabling it is probably because sv_pure doesn’t check for color correction files, and you could make a fullbright map from them.
No. The map needs an entity for color correction, which point to the color correction file. Only 2fort and well has it. You can even check the GCF, there are only a few .raw files which have 2fort and well in their name.
Bassically, Its placebo effect. The colours don’t actually change anything due to what anakin said, your just convinced they do. Your just imagining it. :)
Its like when people go to a TV shop. If you ask them which TV has a better picture, they’ll probably say the more expensive one. If you don’t let them see the prices, they probably can’t tell the difference.

Im saying if you take an AVERAGE person, not most people here as they can tell the difference, but a typical average person and ask them whether TV 1 or 2 is better, they probably can’t tell the difference. But if you tell them TV 1 costs £700 and TV2 costs £1100, 99% of the time they will still say TV 2. Totally regardless of whether it is better or not. :P
