To add more players to a clan after signing up for Season 3?

Because I have 7 players now but I have more people in the clan the plays as reservs and stuff so we dont play one man short.

Yes its allowed, but a player change wont be verified for 24 hours, so they must be added at least 24 hours before you are due to play.
