Afaik it began at The Reality lan (that’s where I heard it the first time).
TCM and TmG were sitting at the same table across each other.
Byte went down at one point and someone (I think it was Skre) yelled
“Byte down, puuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuush!”

bind “H” “say_team BYTE IS DOWN, PUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHH!”

-team for dramatic effect

It actually began with myself, skre and ShoX in Knights.

Byte played with us a few times and we realised how talented a player he was, really helped the team out. Every time we played against them, I knew it wound the TCM players up if I said “Team Byte”.

Months and months ago, they rolled us (Knights) on Granary CP3, only Byte died. One of the Knights guys screamed “BYTE DOWN, PUSH!” and we all started wetting ourselves on comms.

Then from there it became a bit of a TMGamers joke, with me having the exact bind stated above. I’d make sure I spammed it at least 6 times every time Byte died. It then ventured in to skre deciding to scream it at the top of his voice at Reality, with TCM sat literally 4 feet away from us :D

It’s nothing personal at all, skre and I both <3 Byte muchly, as he well knows :)
