DirectX and configs in competitive.

Hello everyone!
I’m planning on starting to play competitive on ETF2L, but I have a question about DirectX and configs. Does ETF2L allow the use of DirectX 81 and configs, because when I play valve’s competitive, with the DirectX 81, the game freezes and crashes? I’m able to play with DirectX 9, but I would prefer having more fps.
Yea they’re allowed. The servers run an exec that might make some configs not work exactly the same as in elsewhere or maybe that’s only for custom mods. But in any case, if you use one of the common premade configs and dx8 you’re fine.
Etf2l allows dx81 and it allows configs, unlike valve comp.
