when does the new bbal cup comes, and when can we signup for it.. ;)

In my opinion the rules seriously need to be changed. The amount of shotgun abuse in the last cup was fuckin retarded. On top of that the respawn timers are retarded, two players win a round without enough health to cap yet they’re penalised for it when both the other players respawn killing the low hp players in a couple of shotgun shots each. No shotguns, no free caps

Play it like NA, very low respawn times and no shotgun. You then have yourself a good cup.

a lower respawntime is good in bball i think but the rest is fine imo.
The rules are fine just the way they are after introducting no suiciding. Shotgun is fine and the spaw ntimers perhaps need to be made a little quicker but its ok for the moment.
ITs all about tactics and skill, if you’ve no health and u have the intelligence run the fuck back if your partner is dead, try and defend for as long as possible giving your partner a chance to respawn.
Wish etf2l would make a BBall league how epic would that be! :-) id be all up for administering it if anyone with authority needs help?
Standing around dicking eachother with hitscan is retarded when you’re playing a game type designed around rockets.
The game isn’t designed around anything, its just a custom map.
You need to cap and kill, killing involves a shotgun as well as rockets.
Most players dont abuse the shotgun (starting off the round by shotgunning is the lamest use of it and most players dont do this). People whine about the shotgun but I see no reason to pull off a ridiculous airshot if I know my opponent is on 2hp and it makes sense to shotgun someone at long range if they’re on no hp. At the end of the day, midair rocketting is more effective than midair shottying so the more skilled players will do better regardless and being able to shotgun is an important part of being skilled at soldier (I for instance suck at it).
Respawn times I think are fine as they are. Sure it can be frustrating to both have to sit back and watch as they get an easy cap, but make it any quicker and it will be very hard for a lot of people in a lot of situations to make a decent attempt at capping before good players can stop them

sounds like someone isnt very good at it :( and game designed around rockets it aint rocketball its bball me n appz best bballers ev0r but appz always lets me down broke my heart pulling out twice when we gonna win the cup ah well!

Tbh the no suiciding rule needs to be removed, it’s just ridiculous that you can, atleast in theory, be punished for failing a jump and/or BEING BAD AT THE GAME.
well rake if you accidently die while trying to rocket jump on say 35 health in their half that isnt classed as suiciding.
If you have 35 health and try an rj and fail in your own half thats just fucking stupid :p.
usually ppl that fails at something tends to bitch about it :D
both teams have shotgun, both team can use it

I’m not bad at bball :) I’m fairly sure there are people on this forum to confirm that.
