I wonder why most of the prem people actually hate gpit

I might consider it if Valve fixes the broken ammo pack under C point by #5 so the engie doesn’t have to keep running back to spawn.

But that’s just me.

Gravelpit takes some strategy and isn’t a dm fest so no wonder it gets removed LUL

It’s a legendary map in which all classes have something to do. It shows that it’s been there since TF2 was released, but I always liked the way it plays. When a team actually bothers to practice it there are lots of possibilities on how to beat the opponent. It’s not perfect (cap A has a strange role for example), but it’s the one A/D map besides Steel that actually works well enough for HL at the moment.

Also, we have four KOTH maps in the map pool this season…

A spectre is haunting ETF2L — the spectre of gravelpit. All the powers of the admins have entered into a holy alliance to exorcise this spectre: Aoshi and Stinson, Bloodis and Morphine, kKaltUu and Sonny Black.

Where is the team in opposition that has not been decried as idiotic by its opponents in power? Where is the opposition that has not hurled back the branding reproach of gravel pit, against the more advanced opposition parties, as well as against its reactionary adversaries?

Two things result from this fact:

I. Gravel Pit is already acknowledged by all ETF2L admins to be itself an admin.

II. It is high time that Gravel Pit Enthusiasts should openly, in the face of the whole world, publish their views, their aims, their tendencies, and meet this nursery tale of the Spectre of Gravelpit with an assembly of the players themselves.
