Hello, I wanna start playing competitive TF2 as a medic. What do I need to do?
Since you only have 200h on TF2, I recommend – if you haven’t already – you go play some lobbies at http://www.tf2center.com. It’ll teach you the format(s). You can either pick 6v6 or 9v9, whatever you prefer. Once you got a bit of experience you can make a recruitmentpost on the site here and look for a team.

Thank you, I tried to play a lobby and when I tried to sign in it said “Sorry, but you are unable to log in to TF2Center.

I’m not sure what it means, I’ve never used any kind of hacks or mods in tf2 and my steam account isn’t banned from tf2

it matters a little bit + it was 3 years ago and i’ve never cheated in any game since, is there no way i could play in this?

Regardless, you need 300 hours to play on TF2C. I recommend that you get 300 hours and then make an unban appeal on the forums at https://forums.tf2center.com/forms/6-request-an-unban/
Make sure to state that your VAC ban is not from TF2.

Idk what “cheats” were used but I don’t think using for example a fov changer is terrible
If 3 years have passed then let the guy play. People grow up, they stop using cheats. Especially if the VAC ban wasn’t for a source game

that’s what I’m thinking as well, however some individuals are always eager to prove me wrong. :p
Since people who hacked on other games other than TF2 are allowed to play on ETF2L I don’t see how it is wrong to play on TF2C.
AFAIK vacs happen on CoD for the simplest and harmless of things, fov changes, or just something to make you max rank etc, doesn’t really give anyone an advantage at all, nonetheless people grow up.
I know I was first in line for the “rank up” lobby back in the day, luckily it was on console and not PC otherwise I’d probably have a VAC too
