I love both gamemodes, 6s a bit more, but I’d love to fully comit and play both seasons to full potential, especially now that we’re playing mid, but for some reason etf2l is forcing me to make a choice. Now I’ll have to miss up to 4 weeks of HL assuming my team makes playoffs in 6s, so here I am, asking, what is the point of making the seasons conflict? Could we avoid that in the future? Are the ETF2L admins also leaving for Overwatch?

HL and 6s season have always conflicted because otherwise you have a very small amount of seasons per year. If you organise your scheduling properly you can easily play both.

The breaks between would be a bigger pain, than having them conflict.

They overlap for like 2 weeks for vast majority of players, it’s not a huge scheduling conflict, we just have backups in place whilst our 6v6 nerds are gaming for the first couple of weeks. Not like we don’t know it will happen.

I think we should simply introduce more weeks to each year. Three seasons of 6s, three seasons of HL, each 7 match weeks + 5 weeks for preseason and playoffs = 72 weeks per year.
