Hello there,

I made an extension for Firefox that shows the league news, so you can check them without visiting the site itself!

Here’s how it looks: http://puu.sh/iTOHg/6b9cb996da.png

I’ll try to fix stuff if anything is broken, just let me know about it in this thread.

You can get it here (it will want to install automatically): http://puu.sh/iTPmf/c0361abc5e.xpi

And I’m not using Mozilla Addons because it doesn’t want to get approved because of how my extension is made, nothing I can do about it

That’s usually for a very good reason. While the idea is nice in itself, it “robs” etf2l some ad-income.

This is a good point, but still everyone needs to check in like once a week? Check the Leagues Tables, post results etc. ETF2L is not completely missing out.

Meeto

I dunno. It only cut down a few clicks of effort tbh.

Who reads the “news” anyways. When they are updated like once a week and on a regular season you`ll be here every day.

It kind of takes away from the visual aspect of a newspost that the newswriters put a decent amount of effort into.

Something as simple as proper formatting can make for easier readability, not to mention all the links to team- and playerpages or to intern and/or extern sources that people take time to include into a post.

That being said the addon seems like a downgrade in almost every aspect except for an easier accessibility, then again our volume of newsposts isn’t high enough to the point where you’d need something extra to manage it (during a season it’s usually like 2-3 posts per week ).
