So the IndieGoGo fundraiser has some really great perks for donating, I know from people I talk to alone that 200 euros probably wouldn’t have been donated if it wasn’t for those perks. But there isn’t really any perks or “ill scratch your back if you scratch mine” for other tf2 Sites/Communites to donate (even though they might well get them if they asked).

Mutual support and promotion between communities and sites in tf2 is extremely important in my opinion, and invaluable in such a broad community with so many things going on.

So I think there should be an alternative list of perks, with other communities in mind. For example.

50 – Be linked as a sponser at the bottom of all posts about the season you sponsered
100 – Have a link in the sponsers section of the site until next season (and the above)
250 – Have your logo in the etf2l sites banner until next season.
500 – Have your logo tattooed on Admirable’s head (until next season?)

I think it would be more important for these perks to be “for a limited time” as many sponsers will be around for years, and don’t need two links in the sponsers section etc. Where as individuals can enjoy many of those perks more than once, or may even up there donation each year to get something they don’t have.

I think that’s a good compromise for the arguments previously.

Those Prices where just examples, I have no idea about the finances of etf2l (obviously) so the prices would have to reflect the current sponsors value.

Also If there are two main seasons a year, then they would have to pay those prices twice a year to maintain the perk.

If you can’t think of ways to add minor sponsors without pissing off the current ones you have less imagination than I credited you with.

I was more referring to the exact ideas he suggested (ie pretty much what we give our actual sponsor).
