So in the dashboard, at “competitions” there are season 20 and archimedes cup. At staus it says : Waiting (17Legion). Does this mean I, as team leader have to do something or is the staff checking the team?

As a leader you should not do anything else. All teams are on waiting list till the start of the competition.
