I’d say you restrict it, given the fact that most of them are just trolls or whatever

Restrict is good. When you get casted it would come in handy if casters could actually pronounce your name. Restricting to understandable characters ties in nicely with the nickname rules that are in effect for Prem teams.
As for dots commas and slashes etc, they shouldn’t be a big deal, so long as a name doesn’t consist of only such characters. Admin discretion can deal with that I suppose.

Seeing that it’s only a really small number of teams that are doing this, I say keep non-Latin names/characters. But after this thread I expect a high rise of troll names…
There is also the matter that some European countries are using Cyrillic alphabet and I don’t see the need to restrict it just because of a few bad apples. If you want to restrict it, do it for Japanese/Korean alphabet etc.
