So as a lot of you are now probably aware ( http://etf2l.org/forum/league/topic-28191/page-1/ ), we are going through a complete redesign of the website. We want to actively get as much feedback and opinions from the community as possible.

Clicking the little blue background button in the top left will give you some default options for a background, and also an option to upload a picture yourself. We’d like feedback on the backgrounds we have provided, and also like to see any suggestions you guys have! Obviously try to be as serious as possible, SFM is preferable.

Looking forward to see what you can come up with!

Please note that you need to post your backgrounds in this thread anyway if you want them to be included since “Test your own” future is only to help you try it out before sending.
First background with moon is skybox texture made by Valve.
The other ones are made by Xantraz.
Give us some more!

Looks strangely like the old TC avatars.

It IS the old TC avatar/website background, it is the skybox for pipeline.

EDIT: Maybe don’t include it, it literally is identical to the old TC website background.

Yeah, we were just talking about how many TF2 textures (e.g. the pipeline skybox) would make for pretty good backgrounds, so I uploaded the old TC background for a test.

Didn’t realise you were doing this, makes much more sense now :3

I really like the 3rd one, it has a really “happy” and summer feeling to it if you get what I mean, nice colors and it gives the best contrast with the site blues. If anything that should be the default one.

But I really love the possibility to have it custom with a lot of different backgrounds. All the options currently in seem solid.
