Even more custommaps?

Yeah, saw a gotfrag thread about some custommaps and thought we should follow up.
Yes, we have an amazing competition with amazing maps, but we should also consider trying out other custom maps (cp_follower, cp_Waste to name two that seem popular in the US). Would be lovely to not play Granlands for the whole next season :x
And after the sucsess of this competition, we should host a CTF version :D
i wouldnt be suprised if we see more new maps in the cups map pool than the map that win the competition. there are more than one map that is “playable”, which is kinda harsh cause many of them are great :)
ETF2L should host a map pack with all playable custommaps, then we might get to play something other than Gran / Bad in PCW’s too :D

I agree totally, we should have a vote of which custom maps that should be in the next season.

An option to promote custom/underused maps could be to have some sort of pre-season. Before the real season starts teams play a couple of matches against teams that are going to be in the same division. The maps will be picked by admins and should be custom/underused maps.
This will force people to try some new and fresh maps. And the results of the pre-season matches can be used to spread teams over the same numbered divisions. This might for example prevent the argument that div2A is a stronger than div2B.
