Is p-rec mandatory?

Hello, and first of all my apologize if this is the wrong session, i’m new here.

Does anybody know if p-rec is mandatory while playing an official match? I have a crappy pc and i’m worried for my fps.

You can record demos manually, but you need to have demos available, yes.

I don’t think P-REC affects your FPS.

P-REC is not mandatory, but it also won’t affect your FPS either.

PRec is not mandatory, but highly recommended. It’s just easier than writing console commands manually.
