Hello!
I am married to a wonderful Canadian woman and working on getting a Canadian citizenship at this moment (This process is going to take a LONG time). I don’t know how etf2l works around double nationality but if it is possible, I am interested in starting a Canadian team on ETF2L. First, I have to know if there are any European TF2 citizens that also has a Canadian nationality and second, I have to see if there is any interest.
Do you have any ideas how and where I should start organizing such team?
If you are interested, you may of course post it here.
Oh, by the by, this is no plan, this is just an Idea that just popped in my head.
vancouver best city on earth
I recommend that you play in NA TF2 leagues like UGC (Has both 6v6 and Highlander), CEVO, and ESEA when you are playing in Canada (nearly 200 ping to EU servers will not be fun).

I met my wife in Canada when I went for exchange studies… so I have already played in a few 6s and HL leagues over there, had only time for a solid season though. My point was that I was searching Europeans with Canadian citizenship here in ETF2L. The problem is that I do not know where to look at
Depends how you nationally identify yourself, if you have yet to play for a national team in 6v6 or HL, then there is a possibility you could be allowed on the Canadian Highlander/6v6 team, however you would not be allowed to play for Sweden ever, no exceptions. Furthermore we would be reluctant to give you captaincy as well, but that is a side discussion based off of merit and influence in your national community.
The name “Swedish Santa” does not help your case by the way. :P

I think he means a normal Highlander team composed of Canadians? Just asking about Canadians in Europe, as opposed to a nations team.

Didn’t Arx play for Wales after already having played for England though?
