Next HL cup?

Just wondering if there will be another HL cup before the season?
Any ideas on what sort of cup people would like to see?
And does it always have to be on a thursday? :P
A weekend cup would be cool, as lots of teams do 6v6 during the week, weekends are generally free.

sorry about lack of cups. its been something we’ve been trying to improve and we have a few ideas but not enough time at the moment. expect some cups between s5 and s6
Call it speculation, but does that mean there’s going to be pre-season playoffs for Season 5 if you don’t have time to run a cup beforehand? Otherwise some new maps would be good to play and figure out whether or not they should be added to the map pool.
Whether there will be playoffs depend entirely on what teams sign up.
A longer season requires larger divisions, and depending on the number and quality of teams signing up for the upper divisions, playoffs may or may not be necessary. It’s why the 6v6 pre-season playoffs and their participants are never announced in advance.
