but seriously Delirium has only 2 players on the team page left, so they will not be able to fight
so the best compromise is to give Vale their spot and they can earn/ lose the division one spot in a fair competition

PS: that’s how I would do it, but I’m not an ETF2L admin :S
PPS: making it really fair and do double elimination (div 1 for the teams who manage to win 2/2 or 2/3 matches, div 2 who win 0/2 or 1/3 matches)
PPPS: hocz or stinger please contact an admin and drop so that Vale could get happy :-)
@ Skinnie if Vale is or not in Div1 next season will not make the season more or less interesting to be honest , i mean, i doubt you can finish top 4….(flame /off !) :D
how it’s fair for div2 runner-ups to add probably “top div1” team to playoffs instead “bottom div1” team? :) only fair thing for everyone – div1 expansion by one or two slots, for much more high level games and coverage, with obligatory stv demos!

For me old teams should play with the old rules – play-offs between two 2nd places teams and relegated div1 team (delirium probably dropped ). Like all the time after 1st or 2nd week or even faster some team will drop or even before s5 starts – so there should be some play-off cup of the 4 teams with the most potential. I just want to say that Vale and K1ck should be patient. Btw is it funny for team to play in 1st division and lose every match 0-8 ? Don’t think so.
Ok but I have questions about 2nd and 3rd division. It;s almost the same thing. There are play-offs and teams fight for 2nd div spot. And some team will drop before season starts again. So the admins will decide which team is the best for this spot? How can they rate teams ? Of course if some team plays in other league ( esl, ukesa, wireplay) they can easily see how they can play with teams from the 2nd league, but what if they are so new and dont play in any league? Admins will put them to 2nd division cause they know that players ? Well I think you should think about some cup for spot in div 2 as well. New teams not from England, Germany, Scandinavia, Netherlands have less chance cause “admin doesnt know you” and it’s disadvantage.
Another thing is team dropped. You can see at dropped team in div 2 have now more than 6 players. You ask how could it be they are rebuild their line-up and the answer is they don’t. Last player in team just called his friends to get automatically spot in 3rd division. And in the last time i knew the same situation admin said that admins will decide who will play in 2nd/3rd division and etf2l it’s not a democracy. Ok you are right and every team needs to show sceenshots from official matches. But as I told that one team I dont know is good enough for even 3rd division so I just want from admin to make the rules clear.
And the last question is dcsb will play again in 2nd division ? :D
i just dont see whats the point in creating a topic like this, this will be an admin decision, and there is alot of flame going on here, specially around vale and k1ck, u know this situation happens in every divisions, every seasons, and admins always managed to do a good job

I think this thread was a good idea as it promotes open discussion in the community on how the divisions are laid out. We’re playing in them after all and spend a good amount of time on em most evenings. Of course there is going to be flaming, but some constructive arguments can be found nonetheless.
Admins posted news they had it all thought out and sorted so lock to stop mo flames
For gods sake…its almost an eternity until the 5th season is gonna start. Meanwhile half of the teams will have droppped…rebuild….strengthened….weakend….spread gay love…WHATEVER!
As haunter said, the admins did a good job so far and Im pretty sure they will manage to make each Div as interesting as it can get for each team in it.
So just keep cool….play the cup…get some references everyone who was asking for spots and the rest will be solved by its own, sigh :)
