The ETF2L Calendar iCal feed should now work with most applications – http://etf2l.org/about/xml-api/#calendar
We’ve set up a new Steam Login plugin, courtesy of F2
If you run into any issues when logging in with Steam from this point forward, please report them to admins. Likewise, if you were having issues logging in earlier, please let us know if this change resolved them.
Fixed an issue where the Join Team form on the My Teams page would occasionally fail.
Fixed the Recent Forum Activity page sometimes returning no posts.
Removed “join requests” – joining teams as a player. You must now be invited by a team leader to join a team.
This feature was a relic from a time long past, when ETF2L did not require team leaders to accept new roster members. Since you need to be approved by a team leader either way, he might as well invite you directly.
Added a profile option to choose between two date formats for the forums, comments and player histories on player/team profiles.
Updated SteamIDs to the new format across the site.
Added searching by Community IDs. Example: http://etf2l.org/search/76561197987537219/
Removed implicit DST timezone conversion when submitting match proposals – now, what you propose is exactly what you will see on the match page, even if ETF2L is currently in summer time and your chosen date is in winter time (or vice versa).
Removed all “multi-national” nationalities like Swegian, AustrianGerman, etc. Users and teams with these nationalities have been reset to European.
As always, a team’s nationality can be changed any time by its team leaders, but changing your own nationality from anything but “International” requires contacting an admin.
