Gotta agree with this – it’s not perfect, but it has no bad maps. They’re all good, albeit a little boring.

As for the unlocks, they selected well too. Still roughly preserving the ‘vanilla’ style, no Manmelters or Machinas.

We’ve a good set of maps. They’re not perfect but people play them routinely and they are good maps. Add to that many a happy roamer with his new toys to play with. It’ll certainly make life interesting. Who knows maybe my strange BB will get a couple more hundred kills on it by the end of the season.

Honestly though for all of that the biggest thing in the news post was the Twitch sponsorship. The opportunity of unprecedented coverage is encouraging.

Most of all thank fuck the Christmas break is coming to an end and I can play some proper bloody games.

Playing 3x snakewater and 2x granary looks pretty boring imo, but at least we have no freight or obscure. Yet we have no Gpit/Turbine/Viaduct, since 7 weeks of only 5CP is going to be repetitive as hell. Imho if we will ever replace Granary with one of those maps (or just add one again) it’s gonna be best map pool ever.

Unlocks are ok, but I dont really care about them since I dont play soldier.

This is a big step for ETF2L on many levels. We finally got some unlocks, map pool is safe (hopefully Gpit will be in it next season) and proper good sponsors.

Maybe I’m wrong, but since Emb took head admin things started going the right way.
