Just a reminder that all of your matches scheduled for after this Sunday at 2am UK time will show the wrong time on the etf2l match page.
It will say an hour earlier than agreed and an hour earlier than whatever time you propose.
/community service message.
Worth a bump since the times are still not updated.

Timestamps seem to be correct.

Yeah, I’m an idiot through misunderstanding.
Is there a reason scheduled matches don’t stay at the time they were set to be played? It would make scheduling so much easier if the set times didn’t move back along with the clocks.
If I set the match time to 20:20 CEST before the clocks go back, I’m still going to want to play at 20:30 CET after.
There was a newspost earlier this week that explained exactly how ETF2L handles DST transitions:

DST translation was done when issuing proposals to Sunday onwards. I don’t see anything that would imply existing dates were to be translated.

If you want to play at 21:00 CET on Sunday, October 27th or later and submit the proposal before the switch to Winter time, enter 22:00 when submitting the proposal.
This is what I mean. Why is DST handled this way?

Bad programming practices of old. Not an easy fix, but it’s on the list.
