It was my understanding that quoting someone without adding anything was shorthand for “I agree with this statement and would have said so myself but quoting is easier than typing the same thing again”.

Monkeh said “an ETF2L league”, as in one of them, not ETF2L as a whole. He wasn’t implying you were criticising the whole organisation, just that it’s hardly encouraging for an admin (even a 6s admin) to be propagating the “Highlander is inferior/pointless” opinion.
My mum always used to tell me “if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all”. Which of course is bad advice in general, but potentially good advice for 6s admins who don’t care about Highlander.
EDIT: Also, unlucky SNSD, was rooting for you. Still, probably about time you lost a game :P

Why can’t some people, sometimes, just admit they were in the wrong occasionally.
I don’t care how you try to dress it up, your post suggested that you don’t care about highlander. As a “League Admin” you should be promoting and helping with all aspects of etf2l’s leagues.
Even if it did just say “6v6 League Admin” then I would have made the post. As an admin you should be seen publicly to support and endorse all of etf2l’s leagues, ladders, cups and tournaments imho, even if you hate highlander with a passion and would rather chop off and eat your own penis than play in 9 Vs 9.
If I was playing highlander and needed to !admin and you then responded to me, I wouldn’t be exactly confident you’d be interested in helping me out…I mean, it’s not important right?

Monkeh is right, you have to be extra careful when you have ‘admin’ below your name. One of the reasons I barely posted when I was an admin was cos I was worried about how my personal opinions would effect (or affect? idk) peoples opinions of the league. Just be careful ^_^
