So, I want to signup a team for the upcoming Highlander, but were a new team, not to competitive play, just new to ETF2L, what’s the best division we should go into?

And how do the divisions even work? (div 1, div 4, div 5)

.ps

What previous level has your team played at?

The divs are fairly self-explanatory – 1 is highest level, 6 is lowest. Each div usually has many groups, signified by letters. Usually for HL there’s 6 teams per group, so 5 matches in the season. If you win your group, you get guaranteed promotion to the next div up next season.

No, we played on UGC, but we wanted to participate in the upcoming Highlander for ETF2L, so we’re basically new, but on UGC, were Steel, so. I think Div 5 or Div 4 would be best for us then?

You could try to get some HL PCWs to judge your skill. :)

UGC steel is equivalent to Div 6 or 5 maybe in etf2l. Depending how you’re doing in ugc.

A drill is a tool fitted with a cutting tool attachment or driving tool attachment, usually a drill bit or driver bit, used for drilling holes in various materials or fastening various materials together with the use of fasteners. The attachment is gripped by a chuck at one end of the drill and rotated while pressed against the target material. The tip, and sometimes edges, of the cutting tool does the work of cutting into the target material. This may be slicing off thin shavings (twist drills or auger bits), grinding off small particles (oil drilling), crushing and removing pieces of the workpiece (SDS masonry drill), countersinking, counterboring, or other operations.

Drills are commonly used in woodworking, metalworking, construction and do-it-yourself projects. Specially designed drills are also used in medicine, space missions and other applications. Drills are available with a wide variety of performance characteristics, such as power and capacity.

Well in S3 we’re introducing prem to the HL scene, so the divs are now from prem – 6.

UGC steel is ruffly div5-6. As other people have suggested above, just ask for some scrims at div6 and div5 level and see where you fit. As an experienced team i would recommend div5 as a baseline, so just see where you go from there.
