How do I challenge someone, I have read the FAQ?

I have read the FAQ but I cannot find the challenge box or either be able to contact someone easily as on steam I look for their name but cannot find it? I have a team of 8 verified people and Im looking to do 6v6 but I dont know how to challenge a team!
Challenges are only for the Ladder and we haven’t used the Ladder for 6v6 games for a while now. The only Ladder still running is the Highlander Ladder.
If you want to find teams to play against, go on IRC and join #tf.wars on Quakenet and search for “6v6 | Div 6 | Server off/on”. For more information on finding clan wars on IRC, please look at this thread – http://etf2l.org/forum/tactics/topic-483/?recent=340174
There’s currently no function to challenge a team through etf2l unfortunately, (please can haz ladder back admins?), but go here: http://webchat.quakenet.org/ type #tf.wars in the Channels box, give yourself a name and click join chat.
Watch what happens in there, normal request will look something like:
Div 6 | Server on | Now
Skill | Have server or not | Let’s go now bitches..
Click on a name to message them.
Go play tf2.

The 6v6 Ladder is completely inactive afaik.
There is only one running competition on ETF2L at the moment: season 13. I’m afraid it’s too late for you to sign up so you’ll have to wait for next season (around November/December) to join the league.
You can still find practise games (or PCWs) in the meantime by joining #tf.wars @Quakenet.

go to #tf.wars on quakenet. You should fine enemies there. Its the quickest way, you state your div and wather u have a server or not (on/off). Example : div6 on now
