All four week1 premiership matches being played on the same day at the exact same time kinda makes me sad… :(
And I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one, and I imagine VTV must be bummed about this too…
Question for the prem-team leaders/players: Is this a one-time fluke, or is thursday-21:15 gonna be standard for all of you to play your officials now? Is this a logical effect of the stricter rules?
Question for the VanillaTV crew: Are you maybe gonna do post-produced casts if this happens more often, since by rule, the STV recordings will be made available?
Probably a coincidence, as people’s RL schedules tend not to work out quite so neatly as that.
But this happens in most professional sports – Saturday 3pm is standard football kickoff time – and it’s not a problem. You just have to choose which match you want to watch.
It’s more about having the matches casted. If they are not casted, no one outside of the allready competitive TF2 players will get to see these matches. And VTV is only able to maximum stream 2 matches simultaneously i think, which splits their (live)viewers, which is anything besides ideal.
And i personally like to watch casts too, mostly VOD’s.
Qn – Decerto won’t be played thursday and BFF – Epsilon is a default date so don’t know if that is sure either.
2 games on the same night is not all that uncommon, especially now that the games have to actually be played in time.

Well in all fairness, I think it’s more important for teams to get their games played, than worry about casting or viewing schedules. That’s the mess we need to sort out ourselves.
In an ideal world, I’d want everyone to play officials on the same day, except for the prem division who play on a different day. That way, the lower teams get a day where they are free, to watch the prem teams in action, should they choose to do so.
Still… with games on the same day, you will find people who would want to create vods for the matches that didn’t get covered. Or you never know… might have 3 sets of casters, and you get a choice between streams!
Almost all the top teams have streamers in these days, so you can always watch those back!
CrackClan vs Punchline will be wildcarded too.
