This might be abit late to post about but maybe someone will find it helpful.

Soooo with the new S13 ETF2L config being split into two seperate configs, one called “etf2l_6v6.cfg” executing the other called “etf2l.cfg”. The problem with this is that Multiplay has some “default” configs laying around on their server that can be executed anytime as long as you’re logged in with the RCON, one of these (maybe the only one) called “etf2l.cfg” is the S11 or S12 (not sure) configs + whitelist from ETF2L’s previous seasons, meaning that it will load the old config when you try and load the new. The fix for this is to edit the names of these S13 configs and the whitelist, what I did was to rename:

(official S13) etf2l_6v6.cfg —> etf2l_6v6_s13.cfg
(official S13) etf2l.cfg —> etf2l_s13.cfg
(official S13) etf2l_whitelist_6v6.txt —> etf2l_whitelist_6v6_s13.txt

Now, last thing to do is to go to the etf2l_6v6.cfg (etf2l_6v6_s13.cfg) and edit the first line (execute of whitelist) to the new name, making it:
mp_tournament_whitelist “cfg/etf2l_whitelist_6v6_S13.txt”

Now, using the command:
rcon exec cfg/etf2l_6v6_s13.cfg
you can succesfully load the new S13 config + whitelist

Now this might all just’ve been a waste of time since I don’t know of any big changes to the configs other than the whitelist possibly allowing new misc. items…..

They are – which is exactly the problem. If they’d just give the user some power, issues like these wouldn’t exist.
