Valkyer

Hi , my nickname is Valkyer , I change names frequently but you will mostly find me with this name.

Im 16 years old , pretty much a computer freak , active every day but sometimes weekends can be an exception . Been playing TF2 since 2008 almost daily and I finally decided to begin competitive play , I never played any lobby games , mostly on dm / mge servers and less frequently public servers , my mostly played classes are sniper and scout due to their risk reward and twitchy mouse movement gameplay style.

Can anyone sort me out and tell me how things work around here?

Make sure to watch a few matches to get the feel of how competitive tf2 works.

It’s great fun once you get into it.

I would recommend extv and vanillatv youtube channels as great resources

About getting a team I’m not really sure but mixes and double mixes are a great way to get “contacts” that might invite you or get you a team.

Welcome!

best thing to do is find some people to mix with, and they can show you the ropes. Lobbys and spectating is ok… but to really get a feel for the game best to get on mumble with a mix team :)

Remember to start in DIV 6/5. It’s not pleasant to start playing competitive in DIV 2, trust me.
