Okay, so there’s gonna be some questions here?
1. Where can I see the ongoing leagues?
2. Where can I see upcoming leagues/tournaments?
3. Do all gamemodes (2v2, 1v1 etc…) have leagues/tournaments on a regular basis?
4. Are the rules for other gamemodes than HL and sixer somewhere?
That’s all I can think from the top of my head.

As useful as that thread is, the questions remain unanswered.

Im not sure what you mean, there are different leagues like etf2l and esea etc, etf2l is for eu, esea is american etc. There are 2 main gametypes that are played 6v6 and 12v12. 6v6 in etf2l has a season every few months with prizes given out in the top divisions and 12v12 im pretty sure has more spaced out seasons, also with prizes.

You can find details about how they are run, the rules and the gameplay of them at the bar on the top and looking at h1’s link.

Only 6v6 and 12v12 really have “regular” tournaments, 1v1 and 2v2 tend to be organised by members of the community.

Other than 6v6 and 12v12, 1v1 is popular as training in the my gaming edge mod, and somtimes there are competitions for the mod. 2v2 in the form of 2 scouts vs 2 scouts has been popular, but im not sure anything is particularly regular on etf2l. 2v2 in the form of medic solly, in the map koth_ultiduo is also popular but I dont think any regular leagues exist for it.

1. In the top bar. Currently, that is Season 12 (only playoffs left) and the Highlander Nations Cup.
2. Browse our newsposts, I guess :s We could definitely improve at this point
3. No, they are considered fun cups and hosted every 8-10 months only
4. They are hidden as drafts but not public. If you ask me for a specific ruleset, I will gladly provide it :)

The first question was because I thought there was regular activity on 2v2 or 1v1. Thanks for answers.
Same for the second question. I also saw from the archives that there is a HL League with 2 seasons played. When is the next one gonna go live? (Or the next sixer season for that matter. No rush thou.:P)
For the third answer: :(
I would’ve wanted some rules for official 2v2 or1v1 but…
The excistance of creatable 2v2 and 1v1 teams on etf2l kind of made me think there was something official.
Also, thanks for the help thread link. I knew most of the stuff in it already, but helpful anyways.

The next Highlander and 6s seasons will most likely start around end of August to End of September as we are currently running the Highlander Nations Cup and soon a 6v6 Nations Cup. Also it’s summer and hot outside :]

ETF2L held several 1on1 and 2on2 and other fun competitions in the past, like 2on2 Bball, 1on1 Soldier cup, 3on3 pyro paintball, etc. None of these had more than 4 iterations (Bball), if I remember it correctly.

HL season 2 ended a few months ago so I think we can expect a start to the 3rd season in a few months time, same with 6s, probably around Setember.

I’m pretty sure the 2vs2 teams that exist are for Ultiduo and bball tournaments or cups that have happen and usually happen every year. Ultiduo is a very fun game mode where a combo (medic and soldier) compete for a point in a King of the hill map. It’s excellent for training and medic/solly cordination.
Bball is another popular gamemode played on a custom map and I think it’s pretty self explanatory.

Not sure what the 1vs1 teams are or were for, maybe for 1vs1 bball but I’m not quite sure

You beat me to it CanFo :D

Anyway, a bit offtopic but any news on more of these bball cups? Ultiduo cups would also be pretty cool. The aussies are pretty active on both those kind of cups and I think they are lots of fun and great opportunities!

I already knew Ultiduo and bball and they seem nice. Haven’t played thou. I hope I can get my clan into Div6 to next season or something.

Basically anyone can host his own cups at Esports Heaven. If you want to do so just poke Crasp or me to get the user created cup approved.
We are currently trying tohost one fun cup per month as all of this takes some planning and, more importantly, time which I personally do not have… Okay, I may have the time but different priorities :D
