So the plan is to run this on the Thursday the 26th, but if DarkSlayer needs more time for the map, we can delay it a week or two. But ye its happening sorry for the wait!

after both nations cups end would an ideal time for this in my opinion.
i think it would be a shame for teams not able to play because they are concentrating on other cups, and it would serve as a nice pre-season event for teams to warmup for s13

On the other hand, if you are not playing in the national teams yourself and don’t want to watch the matches you have not many options to get some practice in officials until September…
Is there no reason we can’t get feedback from one cup and do a 2nd cup with the kinks ironed out?

this, I think that if you plan it to be on the 26th, you’re allready late with it, the news article needs to be read by people and the teams need to know if they have their players available etc, might take some days.
Think you’ll have a better show-up if you announce it a while in front of the cup instead of 3 days.

I think if we can have a b17 cup on Thursday and then dark can use that feedback to craft rc1, which will have another cup after nations before i46 then that’d be super
As said before, the 26th is too close by to have enough teams ready by then, plus people who actually have other stuff to do need to know this beforehand..
It’s a shame because this is the 2nd cup in this month that I and thus my team miss out on because it’s announced like 4 days beforehand.
You are right, we usually gave teams notice at least a week in advance. Sometimes we only gave them 3 or 4 days.
I don’t understand why you would have to prepare for a fun cup though, either your team is playing that day or not – knowing about it three days earlier will surely not make much of a difference?
It’s no matter if we are allowed 2 toxic cups, this one should give dark some nice stuff to craft into rc1

It’s not about preparing as a team, it’s more about people being around that day. for instance I already told people I was gonna go out that day, while if I knew that beforehand I could have done that on another day etc..
It’s not a big deal tho, at least you’re trying to get some cups going :)
