ETF2L Euro 2012 Predictions Game

After the ETF2L World Cup Predicition Game was quite the success, I decided to run it for the Euro 2012 as well. Credits go out to D2M for the idea and 99% of the text. :>

It’s a pretty simple competition and you can enter it at any time, but obviously if you were to start your predictions from today you will have the chance to win more points as you will be able to predict the results of more matches.

How does it work?

Each day, you will be able to predict the scores for that day’s matches. You simply hit reply on the forum thread, type in your predictions and you’re done :) All predictions must be received before the kick-off of the day’s cup matches, otherwise they will not be counted. No exceptions!

How do I earn points?

The points system is very simple:
Correct score – 3 points
Correct result – 1 point

As an example, if I predict Germany v Portugal 2-0, and the score is 3-1 to Germany, I get 1 point. If the score had finished 2-0, I would have received 3 points.

There are also 5 bonus point competitions which are only open until 18CET on 8th June:

1) Top Goalscorer in the Cup

2) Total Goals in the Cup

3) First Red Card

4) Player of the Tournament

5) First Hat-Trick

Guessing any of the 5 bonus point competitions correctly will earn you a 10 point bonus to your score at the end of the competition.

Can I win anything?

There will be a small mystery prize for the winner on behalf of myself :] The most satisfaction you’ll get though, is being able to gloat over everyone else in ETF2L.
Edit: A generous addition to the prize pool. Snyyppis would like to add the much hyped game Trainz Simulator 12 to it. Thank you for that. :]

Good luck to everyone, your predictions start…..now!
